75th ANNIVERSARY  -  75 NEW TREES FOR LOS ANGELES

Two city sponsored programs are active in
Los Angeles: "Trees for a Green LA" and
"Million Trees LA". The plan is to plant one
million trees over the next several years.
This is a partnership between the City of
Los Angeles, community groups, businesses
and individuals, working together to plant and
provide long term stewardship of one million tress, planted all over the city with a focus on
areas that need it most. Each member of the Los Angeles Garden Club will arrange to plant at
least one tree during the club's 75th Anniversary year as our contribution to "Million Trees LA".
