15 YEARS OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND DESIGN EXPERIENCE
Bats are our Garden's Best Friends - Guest Speaker Francine Spears introduces us to her pet bat in connection with her excellent presentation on the important role played by bats in California and the rest of the world. Ms. Spears' pet has been with her for 13 years and can be expected to live another 19 years. Pollination is just one of the many tasks assigned by nature to bats.Click here to add text.

Guest Speaker Jim Ito provides useful holiday decor tips and demonstrates centerpiece ideas, holiday table creations and decors using groupings of florals, leaf-covered candles and ornaments.
Our Field Trip Organizer Jim Schupp always finds new ways to surprise us with well-researched and memorable day trips.
Jorge Ochoa is a Garden Club favorite - He has not only introduced us to his fantastic horticultural  program at Long Beach City College, but also guided us through Griffith Park and Echo Park in the  position of a Senior Gardener of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.

2006 Holiday Potluck Party at our Griffith Park location.

The vast variety of mouth-watering dishes, prepared by our members, makes it quite difficult to decide what to sample first.
The delicious aroma even attracts the nearby park rangers :-)
